Jesse Curran (she/her) is a writer and teacher who lives in Northport, New York, USA. Her essays and poems have appeared in dozens of literary journals including About Place, After the Art, Literary Mama, Blueline, and The Denver Quarterly. She is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English at SUNY Old Westbury and is the 2025 Long Island Poet of the Year.
