Mel Sherrer (She/Her) is a poet and performer from Las Vegas, Nevada. She received her B.F.A. from Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia, and her M.F.A. in Poetry from Converse University in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Her work has been published in Poet Lore, SWWIM, Zone 3 Press, Limp Wrist Magazine and many other publications. Her micro-chapbook, Vice Grip was published in 2021 by Alien Buddha Press. She currently teaches courses in English Literature, Performance Literature and Poetry and serves as the Associate Editor for Sage Cigarettes Magazine.
